Aberglasney Gardens

The haunting beauty of Aberglasney Gardens has an inspiration for poetry. With its mysterious Jacobean structures splendidly restored, this historic garden spectacularly set within the beautiful Tywi Valley offers visitors a unique experience.

Aberglasney's origins are unclear but descriptions date back to 1470. Throughout the centuries, it saw many changes of ownership until the estate was sadly broken up after World War II and suffered from years of neglect.

In 1995 the property was purchased by the Aberglasney Restoration Trust and transformed with new stonework and new gardens, featuring rare and exciting plants.
