In addition to the beauty of the unspoiled countryside, the historic market centres, elegant spa towns and picturesque hamlets, there are many other attractions that are close to the railway line.

Included in this site are the National Botanic Garden of Wales, Aberglasney Gardens, Millennium Coastal Park, Builth Wells (home to the Royal Welsh Show) and Secret Hills - the Shropshire Hills Discovery Centre.
