The National Botanic Garden of Wales, deep in the beautiful Tywi Valley, works to conserve threatened plant species, research plant diversity and create a memorable experience for visitors.

Visitors can enjoy a wealth of vivid and varied plants from all over the world within the Great Glasshouse, the Broadwalk, the Wallace Garden or along the lakes. The Physicians of Myddfai is an exhibition focusing on the legendary Welsh herbal healers of the Middle Ages and the importance of plant diversity today.

The spectacular Great Glasshouse, inspired by the low surrounding hills, is the largest single span glasshouse in the world and houses a perfect Mediterranean landscape featuring a ravine, rock terraces, a waterfall and a lake.
