The countryside from Cilmeri Station

During the battle of 11 December 1282, Prince Llywelyn ap Gruffudd, the last native Prince of Wales was killed by a Shropshire spearman. The spot where he fell is marked by a monument of Trefor Grey Granite from Llywelyn's native Caernarfonshire.
