Gowerton, situated midway between Llanelli and Swansea is the gateway to the Gower Peninsula, the superb beaches of which lie within cycling distance, such as Caswell Bay (10 miles), Llangennith (13 miles) and Oxwich (13 miles). The Commercial Hotel is located nearby to the station, whilst on the edge of the town is a Harvester restaurant and the Gowerton Golf Centre with its driving range and 9 hole course.
