Access to Hopton Heath Station is down a flight of wooden stairs from the stone bridge that crosses the line. Hopton House B&B is only 200m from the station.

A footpath running alongside the line provides easy access to Ashlea Pools holiday park, a retreat of self catering pine lodges set in landscaped grounds overlooking wildlife pools.
