Free Travel update
The Welsh Assembly Government has announced on 12th May that the scheme will be suspended on the Heart of Wales Line from May 18th 2008 - October 4th 2008 inclusive.There will be no free travel between these dates.
It will resume on Oct 5th, to run until May 2nd 2009.
The scheme allowing Carmarthenshire residents a 50% discount on the line as far as Llandrindod Wells will continue from May 18th.
Residents on the line can still get 33% off by purchasing a £5 Heart of Wales Line Railcard - leaflets at stations and TICs.
