Project Inform invloved the installation of Information Points at each of the station platforms. These Information Points contain messages about the next trains from the station. The message includes information for each direction of travel for which a train is expected.

To hear the message, press the button. Wait while the Information Point contacts the control centre and plays the message to you. You will be told the time of the next train and where it is going.

In the unfortunate event of a train being late or cancelled, or there is no train expected, then the message will tell you. Messages may also tell you other things about the train service. If you hear the engaged tone instead of the information, wait until the Information Point is silent, then press the button again.
