Llandybie, with its own 18-hole golf course, has a fantastic selection of self-catering cottages and bed & breakfast within the Glyhnhir Estate, 2 miles from the station. Also within the estate are the spectacular 30 foot Glynhir Falls.

Legend has it that caves on Llandybie's limestone crop are the resting place of Owain Lawgoch, the sleeping warrior, who slumbers awaiting the call to rise and free his native land from oppression.
