Llanwrda Station is situated at the end of a lane, on the opposite side of the A40 to the main part of the village. |

The main part of the village lies on the junction of the A482 leading to the Dolaucothi Goldmines, 7 miles away. Established by the Romans, the mines offer visitors the chance to take a trip underground and experience the life of a goldminer. |
